Up for auction is a Savage Model 112 varmint rifle in 22-250. I purchased this rifle new and it has less than 100 rounds through the barrel. This rifle is an older model and does NOT have the accu-trigger or accu-stock and does NOT come with the scope or bipod in the picture. It will include the steel scope base and 1" rings. The gun has a 26" bull-barrel in a blued finish, one rear sling stud and two sling studs on the fore-end of the stock so you can mount your own bipod and a rifle sling. The magazine accommodates 4 rounds and a 5th can be loaded into the chamber (4+1). This is the long action model when Savage would add blocks to the bolt to accommodate the universal long-action receiver with short-action cartridges. Savage used to built all of their rifles this way to keep them affordable while still maintaining high quality, accurate rifles. The rifling and crown are clean and sharp. The rifle shoots great and is ready to top off with your choice of scope and hit the range or field. I don't need to tell you about the legendary out-of-the-box accuracy the Savage actions and barrels are known for and this rifle is no exception. If you have any questions, please contact me before bidding, but this rifle won't disappoint the serious varmint hunter.
Shipping will be via UPS for a fee of $55.00 (guns are heavy, bulky and require insurance). It will have to be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer in your area, so you'll need to have that arranged before shipment can be made. Any local gun shop or pawn shop that sells firearms can arrange your receipt of the rifle and the necessary paperwork. If you are local to the Fort Collins, Colorado area, contact me and we can arrange a pickup of the rifle without shipping fees and FFL dealers.
The rifle is in good used condition and might have very minor nicks or dings in the synthetic stock and the rifle blue-ing, but nothing that will effect the shoot-ability of the gun and nothing that would be considered abuse given the age of the gun and that it has been used for what a rifle like this is designed for: to hunt and shoot. If you receive the rifle and find a significant reason to be dissatisfied, I will accept a return and refund your purchase price, but shipping, both ways, is on you. You can't use PayPal to pay for guns, so you'll have to send a Money Order to make payment and it will have to clear my bank before it can be shipped. You'll have to send a copy of your dealer's FFL license anyway, so this shouldn't be a problem for anyone.
Ask any questions you might have before bidding so there are no surprises on your end. If you bid and win, I expect you to pay and take possession of the gun.
Thanks for looking and GOOD HUNTING!!!
